Artist's Comments
This rocket has taken FOREVER. It's not that I needed that much time for it, but I'd work on it, then put it off for a long time. According to my art teacher, it's not finished because there's all this crazy stuff she wants me to do with the background, but I think I'm about finished.
The stencils on the rocket are 4-5 layers and I enlarged their outlines for the background. The lyrics say "We took this town, let's take the world now," but they look blurry in the photo. The photo is poor quality, I took it afterschool, hoping no one would walk in on me taking photos of my artwork. It's hanging on my wall in the art room, which I have named "La Mancha." PS-Patent Pending is an amazing band, go see them live if you ever have the chance. |

Thanks for the compliments! Do you mean the yellow guitar in the background, or the bassist on the rocket?
Yesterday I realized that i made the singer and bassist wearing the same outfits...but hey, I'm sure they do that all the time (I actually didn't have a lot of spray paint colors).
